The CIPC Login page is an online portal used by registered customers to access the services of the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). CIPC is an agency of South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC).

What is CIPC?
CIPC stands for the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. It was established under the Companies Act, 2008 as a juristic person and operates as an organ of state within public administration, but outside the public service.
Formerly known as CIPRO, the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission is responsible for the following functions:
- Registration and maintenance of companies, co-operatives, and intellectual property rights (trademarks, patents, designs, and copyright)
- Disclosure of information from its business registers
- Promotion of education and awareness of company and intellectual property law
- Promotion of compliance with relevant legislation
- Enforcement of applicable legislation in an efficient and effective manner
- Monitoring compliance with financial reporting standards and making recommendations to the Financial Reporting Standards Council (FRSC)
- Licensing of business rescue practitioners
- Researching, reporting, and advising the Minister on national policy matters related to company and intellectual property law
CIPC Login
If you are a registered CIPC customer, you can log in using your 13-digit South African ID number and your CIPC password. New users must first register using their ID number via the CIPC registration platform.
Before logging in, ensure that you have a valid email address, as you will not be able to complete transactions without one. If needed, you can register for a free email account using services such as Gmail.
How to Log in to CIPC eServices
Follow these simple steps to access your CIPC account:
- Visit the CIPC login page: https://eservices.cipc.co.za/Login.aspx
- Enter your Customer Code and Customer Password
- Enter the security code displayed on the screen
- Click Login
CIPC Login Password Reset
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following these steps:
- Go to https://eservices.cipc.co.za/
- Click on the “Reset Password” link
- Enter your Customer Code
- An OTP will be sent to your registered cellphone number
- Confirm the OTP and set a new password
